Last night, Apple silently removed the fourth-generation generation iPod Touch from their Online Store and replaced it with a new fifth-generation version. The new iPod Touch has most of the bells and whistles as it’s brother, but doesn’t include an iSight Camera, the loop attachment and only comes in a 16GB model. The colour options also have decreased, you can only have it in grey and black – as seen above.
The new iPod Touch is also £50 cheaper than its big brother which may appeal to customers who don’t want to spend too much money. The 32GB and 64GB models remain untouched, so it seems that Apple is preparing for WWDC and iOS 7 by removing old hardware.
Will you be picking one up?
